Refund policy

Perishable Food – No Returns

Our ribs are fully cooked and shipped cold (refrigerated). Because they are perishable food, we do not accept returns once an order has shipped.

When We’ll Refund or Replace

If your order arrives damaged, leaking, with a broken vacuum seal, or not safely cold due to a carrier delay, we’ll offer a replacement or refund (our choice, depending on availability).

To qualify, you must contact us within 4 hours of delivery (or by end of day if delivered after 6pm)

What We Need From You (Required)

Email info@midansbbq.com with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of:

    1. the outside of the shipping box

    2. the inside packaging/insulation

    3. the gel packs

    4. the ribs showing any damage/leaks/open seals

Do not consume product you believe is unsafe.

What’s Not Covered

We can’t issue refunds/replacements for:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address entered at checkout

  • Packages marked Delivered but left outside too long / not brought in promptly

  • Stolen packages (porch piracy) after delivery confirmation

  • Delays caused by the customer (e.g., rescheduling, refusing delivery, missing delivery access)

  • Improper storage after delivery (product must be refrigerated immediately)

  • Preference-based reasons (taste, heat level, tenderness expectations, etc.)

Delivery Timing Notes

  • All delivery dates are estimates. Carrier delays can happen.

  • We recommend shipping schedules that avoid weekend delivery when possible. If your delivery is expected near a weekend/holiday, please plan to bring the package inside immediately.

Order Changes / Cancellations

Orders can be changed or canceled only before shipping. Once shipped, we can’t cancel or intercept the package.

Seasonings & Non-Perishable Items

Unopened and unused seasoning products may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

Opened food or seasoning products are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.
